WharfFest at Eastern Wharf

Eastern Wharf will be hosting a full weekend of festivities in support of St Patrick’s Day. With close proximity to Savannah’s historic district, and an easy ten minute walk to the parade route, the Riverfront development will offer Savannahians an easy option for parking and celebrating throughout the weekend.

Both Savannah residents and visitors can access Eastern Wharf from The Truman Parkway at President Street or via Wheaton Street to Randolph Street, bypassing all road closures for easy in and out access.

Participating Eastern Wharf businesses include The Park at Eastern Wharf, Squirrel’s Pizza and Bar, bar by fleeting, Bar Julian, Stevedore Bakery, and Ōtium Studios. In addition, Syd Nichole Flowers & Fashion will host a special St Patrick’s  Day flower workshop on March 12th at 6:30 p.m.



Friday, March 14th

Kick off the weekend with:

  • Live Music at Squirrel’s from 6-9 pm with Ryan Taito
  • Food and Drink specials at Bar Julian and Stevedore Bakery

Saturday, March 15th

Savannah Stopover presents WharfStop Riverfront Concert featuring live music from four local bands all afternoon. Bow Tie BBQ, 520 Wings and La Chalupa Food Trucks will be on site.

Plus live music at Squirrel’s with Ryan Taito from 6-9 pm

Sunday, March 16th

Start the day with Celtic inspired movement. Otium studios will lead a free yoga flow with prosperity postures and Bar Julian brunch discounts. 

  • 10:30am free Yoga in The Park led by Hannah Flannagan.
  • 3-6pm Live Music at Squirrel’s – Jeremy Riddle
  • Bar Julian brunch until 3pm

Monday, March 17th

Make Eastern Wharf your home base for parade day! Park within easy walking distance to the parade, grab your pre-game cocktail and food to go. Continue the party post parade at Bar Julian with birds’ eye views of all of downtown Savannah.

  • 8-10am Pre-Parade Bloody Mary Kickoff

    • Mobile Bars from bar by fleeting + Stevedore with sandwiches, gatorade, beer and wine

  • 12pm Squirrel’s opens with Service Brewing Tap Takeover all day

Getting Here

Park on street, at the City of Savannah’s Eastern Wharf Garage, or with our secure monitored parking and enjoy easy access to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Route! We recommend taking E President St. or the Truman Parkway to get to 301 Passage Way.

Walking from Eastern Wharf to the parade is a breeze, just cross General McIntosh Blvd. and turn right on Broughton St., or follow the Riverwalk to an access point across Bay St.

On Saturday, March 15th and Sunday, March 16th, monitored self-serve parking will be offered from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. in 1 lot at Eastern Wharf. Please follow the signs to the lot attendants.

On Monday, March 17th monitored self-serve parking will be offered from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in 1 lot at Eastern Wharf. Please follow the signs to the lot attendants. All vehicles will need to be moved by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 17th.

On Monday, March 17th, monthly pass holders will be allowed exclusive access to their garages until 8 a.m. The City parking garages will open to the general public at that time.

Cars are parked at the owner’s risk. Park your vehicle, lock it, keep valuables out of sight, and exit the garage. No tailgating is allowed from vehicles and no loitering in the garage.

All City parking garage rates, including the Eastern Wharf Garage, will be $25 per day. On-street parking will be free on Sunday, March 16th and Monday, March 17th. Click here for more information.

Arriving by boat? Dock at the City of Savannah’s Eastern Wharf 700 ft. of public dock space — first-come, first served (No reservations accepted).

On street parking is allowed in legally marked spaces. Only monitored grass lots will be open for self serve parking, no others will be open.

Violators will be towed at owner’s expense.

The parade begins promptly at 10:30 a.m., but road closures will start as early as 6:30 a.m. Make sure to take a look at the road closures map before you leave! For more information on route specifics, security, and more, follow the City of Savannah on Facebook.

Yes! Eastern Wharf is in the To-Go Cup Zone year-round, but the zone will also be extended out to Victory Dr. on Saturday, March 16th.

In addition to the public restrooms located in the City’s Eastern Wharf Parking Garage, the City provides public restrooms and port-o-johns along the parade route.
